Coastal collaborative series by cat huss & Kaleigh Glover

Kicked off in Summer 2018, Huss & Glover created their first collaborative piece for the Collaborative Art Show at The Art Center of Corpus Christi. Satisfied with the outcome of their creation, they debuted their series called the Coastal Collaborative Series depicting classic scenes and wildlife in the Coastal Bend area- from downtown Corpus Christi, Texas to Mustang Island. With a shared love of the coastal lifestyle, Huss set the tone with her tasteful color palettes and expressive paint application, Glover taking you to beautiful, familiar environments that a local may overlook everyday.

Snapshots by kaleigh glover

Dreamy studies of snapshots taken from the Coastal Bend roadways, palms, and the salty waters. By working quickly on a small scale, paintings with a 'washed out', vintage feel were meant to mimic a quick "snapshot", or memory, of the timeless views that the South Texas Coast has to offer. Mixed into the work are some larger compositions with more of a sense of freedom and experimentation, done with less structure or direction.
